as far as music & art go i've always lived by one code 1st and foremost:
i spent the last decade out west mostly in hollywood & about a year of that in vegas. during that time i recorded by myself as a solo artist & as turbovulva. in 2005 i was the founder of the music outfit strap-on sweetie which i finally quit for good in august of 2010. why ?? just look at the dates of all of my releases. you will clearly see the drastic drop make that free fall in output once i was with strap-on sweetie & the drastic spurt of output that has resulted ever since. from 2005-2010 it was a nightmare trying to get anything done with that guy.
click HERE if you want to know the rest. some might call that airing dirty laundry. i call it JUSTICE.
since leaving Strap-On Sweetie i've released (something like) 13 full-length albums & 10 EPs. check the Discography page for tracklists & links. 2012 was a year of catching up due to poor decisions in the past & was by far the most prolific year of my entire musical life. 2013-2015 was more of the same.
i'm not going to wait around for any audience. if they want to keep up they can and if they get behind at any point there will always be plenty of new things to discover a.k.a. THE WAY IT SHOULD BE. i (like a select few) am the absolute prototype of the future of music = self-contained, sleek, fast, and with all the fat cut off of the sides. the old way is dead and buried where it belongs. those old-hat-slow-fat ballerinas are dying on the vine as i type this.
i've learned i obviously do not play well with others or maybe it's more like they don't know HOW to play. i DESPISE the music industry & most "art" communities in general these days because they are polluted with far too many seeking to add another "dimension" to the thinly veiled ways they brand themselves online rather than having anything remotely profound to add to this already overpopulated mix. most of them have far too little to show for any of it anyway. their lack of quality output is just one glaring symptom of how much they are faking their way through the process.
